Martin and I went to Baptism Class today, and we're now officially ready for Grace's Baptism on August 18th. It's only two weeks away, which means it's only one week 'til the family arrives from Ireland. We couldn't be more excited about their visit! We have a lot planned for the two weeks they're here, but the most important is to make sure they have loads of quality time with Grace. We want her to get to know her Irish family and them to get to know her.
It will be the first time Martin's parents have been to the U.S. What a time to visit Texas...in the hottest month of the year! Luckily, though, it's been one of the coolest summers ever in Texas. That's because it rained almost non-stop during July! The weatherman said the other day that there were only seven days in the whole month that it didn't rain in Austin. How crazy is that? It rained more here than it did in Ireland :-) Hopefully, the heat won't get to them too much. Regardless of the weather, I know their trip will be special for all of us. 7 days and counting!!!
