Yesterday was such a special day for our family. We had a Mass for the blessing of our marriage and Grace Calleigh's Baptism. The Mass was beautiful with fantastic music and our nearest and dearest there to share this important day with us. Grace slept right through her Baptism, even when the holy water was poured on her head. We couldn't believe it! Her godparents are my brother, Billy, and Martin's sister, Caroline, and we look forward to the role they will play in Grace' s life.After the Mass, we had a party at our house, and it was good fun! My Mom made quite a spread of food, and we had plenty of adult beverages for everyone to enjoy.
We really want to thank everyone who surrounded us with their love and support yesterday. It meant so much to us! We love you all and appreciate all the ways you bless our lives. A special thank you to our families -- we couldn't be more thankful for you.
There are certain days in your life when you realize who matters most in your world. Yesterday was one of those days. God has truly blessed our family with amazing people to walk with us as we journey through life. We are abundantly grateful.
